About Levidian

Your trusted decarbonisation partner on a mission to tackle climate change

We help major industries to decarbonise with an operating model that helps to end the choice between achieving climate goals and financial performance.

Who we are

Levidian is a British climate tech business on a mission to decarbonise the world's most carbon-intensive industries.

Powered by our patented LOOP technology, we provide a comprehensive decarbonisation service that converts your carbon liabilities into a competitive advantage, solving the dilemma between decarbonisation and business performance.

LOOP captures the carbon, pre-combustion, from methane gas and turns it into clean hydrogen and high-quality graphene, a carbon material used as an additive to enhance and decarbonise your products. Our hydrogen can be used as a fuel alternative or blended back into your gas stream, lowering the CO2 footprint of your operations.

Deployed anywhere with a methane source, LOOP is designed as a self-contained modular system that can be quickly and easily retrofitted to existing infrastructure, supporting your decarbonisation efforts from day one and evolving with your business over time.

Our history

Levidian is a young company based on a long heritage of technical excellence.

Originally spun out of Cambridge University in 2012 under the name Cambridge Nanosystems, nearly eight years were spent focused on both graphene and technology R&D and patent development, before the business was acquired, commercialised and renamed Levidian in late 2020.
