A Look Back on 2025

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re proud to reflect on a landmark year for Levidian and for graphene commercialisation more broadly. It’s been a year defined by accelerating demand, global expansion and tangible progress in taking advanced materials from promise to practical, real-world use.

2025 highlights at a glance

  • Graphene commercialisation accelerates
Demand for verified, industrial-scale graphene reached new levels, including nearly 100 tonnes of interest identified through our first graphene auction, our first tonne-scale order in the Middle East, and growing adoption across batteries, construction, coatings, plastics and more.

  • Production capacity increasing through LOOP network expansion and unit efficiency improvements
This year saw LOOP go live at one of the world’s largest gas processing plants, deploy in mainland Europe for the first time, successfully test on biogas in the UK water sector, and progress towards deployment into Southeast Asia. In parallel, Gen1 efficiency improved by 25% and Gen2 development continued toward a 20x productivity goal.

  • Global footprint strengthens
Over the last two years, Levidian has evolved from a UK-centric business into a truly global platform, with partners, projects and deployments spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America. Regional hubs, including a permanent presence in the UAE, are helping us better serve customers locally.

  • Industry influence and recognition grows
The team played an active role in global conversations on advanced materials, decarbonisation and innovation, while earning major awards and rankings across cleantech, circular economy and energy transition. We were also featured in over 200 media pieces worldwide.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to build on this strong foundation with our customers, partners and supporters around the world.

Thank you for being part of our journey in 2025 - we look forward to an even more impactful year ahead.
